$ stayupfront --stack-cost

What does your support, status and monitoring stack actually cost?

Click an area, pick the tool that does that job for you, and it paints every area it covers. Each tool is counted once, on the cheapest published plan that fits everything you've asked it to do. Then see the whole board next to one plan of StayUpfront.

Vendors' own published list prices, checked on 4 September 2026. Converted at the rate shown under exchange-rate assumptions. Taxes not included.

Things the headline number can't show

  • StayUpfront: priced on the number of customer contacts you support, never on seats. Every plan includes the whole team and every feature, with Una on a fair-use basis. Founding customers pay the founding price.
  • Coverage is a job, not a feature checkbox. A tool paints an area only where a small B2B SaaS could genuinely run that job on it, on the tier shown. Free tiers are real and count while they fit.

    How the numbers are worked out

    Every price is the vendor's public list price on the date shown at the top, converted at the rate under exchange-rate assumptions, before tax. For each tool we pick the cheapest published plan that covers every area you've given it and fits your numbers. Free tiers count when they fit. Seat, monitor and subscriber add-ons are added only where the vendor publishes a price for them.

    Negotiated rates, startup credits and unlisted enterprise tiers aren't modelled, so treat the total as a floor rather than a quote. StayUpfront is shown even where it comes out dearer; at small sizes, free tiers often win, and the page says so.

    A tool covers an area only where a small B2B SaaS could genuinely run that job on it: a status page counts when it has subscribers, on-call counts when it has schedules and escalation, docs count when there's a real help centre. Where a tier adds or lacks an area, the engine steps up and tells you why.

    Spotted a price that has moved? Tell us and we'll fix it. The dataset is re-checked every quarter, and the date at the top is computed from the data, so a stale quarter shows.

    Every area on the board, on one plan

    Support, status page, incidents and on-call, monitoring, docs, roadmap, changelog and API docs, with the whole team included. Priced by the customer contacts you support, never per seat.
